Ada banyak hal menarik terjadi saat perhelatan Grammy Awards ke-63, salah satunya adalah Beyoncé danTaylor Swift telah menuliskan sejarah baru di dunia musik. Beyoncé berhasil menjadi perempuan pertama dengan penghargaan terbanyak dalam sejarah Grammy, yaitu 28 kali. Rekor ini menyalip Alison Krauss.

Taylor Swift juga membuat sejarah dengan menjadi artis perempuan pertama yang menang sebanyak tiga kaliuntuk kategori “Album of the Year”. Sebelumnya, ia menang pada tahun 2010 (Album “Fearless”) dan 2016(Album “1989”). Sejauh ini, hanya ada tiga artis lain yang pernah memenangkan penghargaan “Album of the Year”sebanyak tiga kali, yaitu: Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon, dan Stevie Wonder.
